Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) of Greater Hancock County’s mission is to mobilize local churches to transform lives and communities In the Name of Christ. Love INC is a proven model that networks local churches, church volunteers, and community organizations to help people in need leading to reduction of overlapping and duplicate delivery of services. Love INC’s clientele is anyone who is in need, i.e., financial, furniture, gas, baby items, household maintenance, home entrance ramps. Neighbors with immediate needs call into the Clearinghouse (the foundation of Love INC) or are referred to the Clearinghouse by churches where requests are verified, then referred to local churches, service organizations, and volunteers for assistance.

In 2021, Love INC assisted 449 families representing 689 adults and 425 children.
Love INC processed 581 need requests resulting in 455 positive outcomes where needs were met.
A total of 2,787 volunteer hours focused in Hancock County were mobilized in 2021.
